Junior Test Engineer- Manual Testing
As a Junior Test Engineer-Manual Testing you will own and manage; conduct testing of the multiple applications developed here.
Client responsibilities
►   System testing of web based enterprise system applications developed in technologies like .NET, PHP and JAVA/J2EE.
►   Reviewing SRS documents
►   Participating in Requirement elicitation calls
►   Designing and preparing high level and low level test cases
►   Attending Test plan walkthroughs
►   Performing walkthrough of test cases
►   Executing test cases
►   Performing peer reviews
►   Daily status reporting of test execution progress
►   Raising defects and defect management activities
►   Developing domain knowledge in HR & Finance
People responsibilities
►   Contribute individually, being a role model to others
►   Coach and mentor junior peers when called upon to do so
►   Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
Skills Requirements
►  B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc
►  Approximately 0-3 years of experience
►  Should possess excellent communication skills
►  Should  be an excellent team player
►  Demonstrate ownership of all modules/project deliverables entrusted
►  Should be able to perform test case analysis, design, review development of test plans and repeatable testing procedures for projects.
►  Should be able to write Test plans(optional), High level test cases and low level test cases
►  Should have knowledge of various manual test/design techniques
►  Knowledge of any one defect tracking tool like Quality Center, JIRA, etc is desired
►  Should be an inspirational leader, motivator & mentor
►  Should be an individual contributor cum shows signs of  leadership traits
►  Knowledge of CSTE/ISTQB is preferred
►  Knowledge of technologies like C, OOPS & C++, VB scripting, QTP etc is desired.
►  Should have a positive overall approach & have a consistent problem solving mindset
